4 Nude Lipsticks That I Cannot Get Enough Of.

It wasn't too long ago that bold and bright lipsticks were very much my thing. I couldn't get enough of glamorous reds, fun pinks and deep berry purples. Yet, more recently, I've found myself developing a rather large love affair for a nude lip - the kind of shade that never used to be in my interest to reach for. More and more, I've come to appreciate just how flattering they are, and how complimenting they can be for both day and night looks - not to mention how sophisticated they can look for the office. With that said, here are a few nude lipsticks that I cannot get enough of.

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Cannes: This lipstick is a very recent purchase of mine, but it hasn't taken long to soar right to the very top of my love list. In recent months I have become a thorough liquid lipstick convert, long gone are the days where I felt on the fence about them. For a bargain price at just £5.50, these lip creams are a dream come true. They apply on to the lips so smoothly, and after a few moments dry to the most beautiful matte finish. The shade is a pretty pink-toned mauve colour, with the most impressive colour pay off. It's an incredibly wearable shade for both day and night, which is why I've been reaching for it religiously since purchasing it. Being a lip cream, these products may not last as long as true matte lipsticks, yet for the price and for such a beautiful shade, I'm not one to complain.

MAC Lipstick in Velvet Teddy: I'm certain that there aren't going to be many who are unfamiliar with this much loved shade, but it simply can't go without a mention. I first purchased this lipstick well over a year ago, and have continued to re-purchase it ever since (which is a tell-tale sign of just how much I love to wear this shade). This deep-tone beige shade is the perfect everyday go-to. This long wearing formula applies effortlessly with the classic MAC matte finish.

MAC Lipstick in Brave: Another MAC lipstick that I'll continue to re-purchase over and over again is Brave, a pink-beige shade with subtle white pearl tones. A perfect shade for a sophisticated feminine look, that beautifully compliments a soft, natural eye look. Although not as long wearing as the matte formula, this lipstick gives a beautiful satin finish. This formlua will need topped up throughout the day, but with such a beautiful colour I'm happy to oblige.

Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in Bond Girl: I can't talk about this particular lipstick without first talking about the packaging. The beautiful, rose gold packaging that gives the product a luxurious feel, making it one of those 'special occasion' types of lipstick that almost appears too pretty to use. I instantly fell in love with this muted-medium dark rosy plum nude. The colour is unlike any other, and I've found that it beautifully compliments my paler skin tone. Although I would prefer this formula to be a matte finish as opposed to satin, I do love that it gives a buildable coverage that applies smoothly every time. Once applied, it feels lightweight and hydrating, making it effortlessly wearable throughout the day.
