An Ode To Pixi Glow Tonic.

We've all experienced it: every once in a while, a product makes its way into your beauty routine that completely changes everything. You truly wonder how you made it so far without it. It becomes a holy grail and an everyday staple. For me, above all others, that product was (and still is) Pixi Glow Tonic. Not too long ago, every beauty blogger in the blogsphere couldn't get enough of this product, people were scurrying to the rooftops to shout about how much they adored it. I won't lie, I can be a bit of a sucker for a trend, and it certainly didn't take me very long to succumb to the hype and give it a try myself.

When I first started using this product almost a year ago, I knew almost instantly that I had struck gold. What everyone was saying was true, and then some. Pixi Glow Tonic is described as a glow-giver, it works to tone and condition your skin after cleansing. It is enriched with glycolic acid, and claims to gently exfoliate your skin to reveal a healthier, brighter complexion underneath. The formula is also rich with aloe vera which soothes and hydrates, whilst ginseng oxygenates the skin cells and promotes skin vibrancy. Witch hazel works to firm and tone the skin, while horse chestnut boosts blood flow, to grant your complexion that naturally fresh and dewy radiance that we're all striving for. This wonder-product is also oil-free and alcohol-free.

My skin tends to verge on being quite sensitive, so at first I was a little bit hesitant to give this product a try. I was expecting it to sting my skin and feel tightening. Yet, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it is in fact the complete opposite. I use a small amount of this product on a cotton pad, wiping it all over my face, both morning and night after my cleanse. Even with persistent use, it doesn't strip or cause irritation. It's incredibly pleasant to use, and so easy to integrate into your skincare routine.

Since introducing this product into my skincare routine, I have seen a welcomed change in my complexion. I have definitely noticed the naturally fresh and dewy glow that this product promises to give over time, and it has unquestionably played its part in minimising any blemishes or imperfections. I have also noticed that my complexion is generally much smoother, helping my make-up to glide on with ease.

Thankfully, this product is astonishingly affordable at only £18 for a huge 250ml bottle. It is guaranteed to last for a long while, as well as give you all of the wonderful skin benefits that it promises. I've re-purchased this product a number of times now, and I can't see myself letting go of it anytime soon.

Have you ever tried Pixi Glow Tonic? What are your thoughts on it?
