The Budget Highlighting Palette You Need In Your Beauty Collection.

It’s safe to say that in recent months, I have fallen head over heels in love with the highlighting trend. If you know me at all, you’ll know that I’m not one to shy away from dousing my cheekbones in gorgeous, glowy products to give the most iridescent radiance to my complexion. Anything that gives me model-esque sculpted cheekbones is a winner in my book. From powder formulas, to cream formulas and even liquid illuminators - highlighters are available in all kinds of variations from an array of incredible brands. Cult, high-end brands such as BECCA Cosmetics have set a high standard for highlighting products, with the ever-coveted Champagne Pop being one of the most sought after products in the world of beauty. But what if I told you that my current must-have highlighting product is just a mere £10?

The hype surrounding the Sleek Solstice Highlighting Palette is increasing with each passing day, and for good reason. I was first made aware of this miraculous palette when I noticed my beautifully talented friend Isabelle using it to create one of her artistic looks, and I knew immediately that I had to get my hands on it. Encased in beautiful rose gold packaging, this dainty product is easy on the eyes and hard to resist. Not only will it look beautiful on your vanity table, but it's the perfect size to pop into your travel make-up bag. Inside the palette features a decently sized mirror and contains four highlighting products - three of which are powder based and one cream formula.

Ecliptic is the luxurious light nude cream highlight, which is versatile for an array of skin tones. It can be used along the cheekbones, as a cream eye-shadow and can even be used as a base for layering the powder highlighters on top to increase colour intensity. Subsolar is a pale gold silky powder, while Hemisphere and Equinox are baked formulas with lavender and peach gold undertones, which each give stunning light reflection.

All four highlighters are beautifully formulated and well pigmented. A little goes a long way, especially with the powders, so this palette is guaranteed to last. Both the cream and the powder highlighters apply like a dream and blend effortlessly, all while wearing incredibly well. With quality so outstanding, I almost cannot comprehend the retail price of just £10. This palette has become a fully established staple within my beauty collection, and I have yet to reach for any other highlighter.
